This week, College Party Central brings you another sizzling Spring Break destination; a place not too from North Florida, yet worlds apart from Tallahassee, Miami and the rest of South Florida, is a definite hot-spot to live our your wildest Spring Break fantasies.
Not your average college party scene, South Florida is the best place to break the college traditions of keg-stands and beer-pong, for Mojito’s and fine Cigars. With an endless amount of celebrity-infested nightclubs and bikini-clad MILFS, being bored in Miami is never an option.
South Beach, Downtown and Coconut Grove are just some of the Miami-Dade county areas to visit over your Spring Break. Not enough? A 30-minute ride into Broward County is where you will find the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Ft. Lauderdale Beach and Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. To break it down, CPC has decided to mention just a few of the must-do events in each town.

For those of you lucky enough to get a date on Valentines Day, and even luckier to get a reservation at any of the cities nicer eateries, CPC commends you; and if you were lucky enough to get a reservation at the beautiful Café Cabernet, even better.
If you were fortunate enough to have a reservation, you were able to experience a romantic evening of jazz music, spectacular wine and amazing food.
A special V-Day menu was offered by the Monroe St. establishment, and featured such mouth-watering items as fried calamari steaks and crab cakes for starters, chili crusted grouper, and steak for a main course, and sweet deserts to wrap up the evening.
Although booked to capacity, the Café was able to offer tremendous service by having each waiter and staff member help out with delivering food, taking drink orders and refilling water glasses.
The only thing that my date and I noticed about Café was the size of the tables. The circular tables are not that spacious and with a candle, two huge plates of food and bread basket, it was somewhat difficult to enjoy our meal comfortably. Besides that, Café Cabernet was a great Valentines Day choice.
Don’t think that just because Valentines Day is over, you missed out on the great food. Café Cabernet is easily one of Tallahassee’s best and is worth every penny. Join CPC on Wednesday nights for fine Cigars and great wine with Tallahassee’s classiest partiers. |
Your DUI Nightmares are over! Thanks to Insight’s latest project the Night Nole brought to you by Star Metro. The Night Nole operates much like Safebus but with many more benefits. It runs from 10pm to 3am Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday’s which are the nights with the highest amount of DUI’s. Insight is currently trying to get more funding to increase the number of nights, buses, and routes. While the safe bus travels the campus area, Insight’s Night Nole goes to Potbelly’s and other venues as well as Heritage Grove. Imagine the possibilities of getting sloshed with all your buddies and having the school pay for you transportation from party to party. So who was this partier that helped this all happen? Much to everyone surprise it was our former SGA president and Leader of Insight Chris Scoonover. Here’s the breakdown of what needs to happen if we want to keep getting free drunk bus transportation. Star Metro and Senate have given a combined total of $26,000 to fund the Night Nole. In order to keep getting continued funding and improvements we need to make sure we vote Insight on Wednesday at the Union, Strozier, or Diffenbaul for SGA spring elections. |
